TMobile Phones Now Bigger Than Ever
T Mobile is a huge company that provides multi-national mobile phone network coverage. They also provide a TMobile phones range at highly competitive prices to meet any budget and for that matter – any need too.
Thus anyone can get a great phone with great network coverage and also a great tariff to suit.
The mobile phone market in the UK is becoming incredibly competitive with only a few very large companies able to survive. TMobile having joined forces very recently with Orange – one of its previous competitors – to take a customer haul of some 28.4 million, which is a colossal amount of mobile phone users.
With a further deal in the pipeline for a little later in the year between Deutsche Telekom’s TMobile and the French division of Orange then sales will top $13.5 billion. Would you feel this is good news for the consumer? Thoughts of the word “monopoly” come to mind which means inevitable job losses and less choice for the consumer.
Good news I wonder? The word “monopoly” comes to mind thus providing the customer less over all choice and added to this job losses are a certainty as the lower profiting shops are sold off.
Further to this recent news, T Mobile is tinkering with the idea of making a multi-billion dollar bid for the third largest US telecoms carrier – Sprint Nextel, which currently has a market value of $10.6 billion. Watch out for further news on this in the coming weeks.
T Mobile US division is at the moment the country’s third largest carrier following on the tails of Verizon and AT&T.
What about new cell phones available with TMobile? Well, within the past number of weeks TMobile UK made available its Android smartphone to the UK market. The Android phone is a development by Google the internet search engine provider but they have given TMobile UK explicit rights to the current Android phone, called the Pulse phone.
With a price tag of 180 pounds sterling UK which equates to $286 US and available exclusively to T Mobile, it has the largest screen of any Android set at 3.5 inches, which is HVGA touchscreen, and can also be trackball operated. Further, it has a 3.2 megapixel camera with TeleNav GPS system.
There is a 3.2 megapixel camera to boot and a TeleNav GPS set up too. Qualcomm’s MSM7200A chipset is used, while the memory size is 2GB. There is a mini SD card slot for you to upload and download software, ringtones etc. The weight of the phone is 130g.
Google the internet search engine giant, has said that there will be a number of other Android handsets available before the conclusion of this year – 2009, so not an exclusive deal to T Mobile Phones, which I’m sure they would prefer it to be otherwise.
